The names of the underlying assets for YAX’s spot trading are always displayed in the form of Base Currency/Quote Currency. The Base Currency is the currency being traded, and the Quote Currency is the currency used to measure the price of the Base Currency, similar to foreign exchange trading. Each trading pair is measured in terms of the Quote Currency.
For example, let’s say there is a trading pair with the symbol ETH/BTC, currently priced at 0.12. The Base Currency of this trading pair is ETH, and the Quote Currency is BTC. This means that the current value of 1 ETH is 0.12 BTC.
