Users who passively wait for their orders to be filled in the OrderBook are called Market Makers on the market.

What is a Market Taker?

The active party in the market, whose order is matched with an existing order in the OrderBook, is called a Market Taker.

Note: Your order may be partially executed as a Taker with orders on the market, and then enter the OrderBook and fully executed as a Taker.
